Amarillo Bar Association Trial Academy
Lovell, Lovell, Newsom & Isern, L.L.P was honored to participate in the Amarillo Bar Association's Trial Academy on November 16, 2012. Joe L. Lovell and Tim Newsom of the Amarillo Law Firm of Lovell, Lovell, Newsom & Isern, L.L.P served as instructors during the Trial Academy. Associate Brian Farabough participated in the Trial Academy as one of the students.
The Trial Academy is a two day event which focuses on trial advocacy skills and training presented by experienced trial litigators who have distinguished themselves as some of the top trial lawyers in Texas. The Academy brings newer attorneys together with seasoned litigators who can share their knowledge and personal experience learned from years of practice. Some of the items taught during the Trial Academy are advocacy skills, direct and cross examinations, opening statements, closing arguments, and voir dire.
