Big Truck Company Has Previous Citations
Officials reviewing federal records have found that the 18-wheeler trucking company involved in the deadly Amtrak crash has a spotty record. Authorities have previously cited the trucking company for crashes, unsafe driving and bald tires. The 18-wheeler truck involved in the wreck drove through a crossing gate and into a double decker car killing him and five other on the train. A National Transportation Safety Board member was unsure if the companies spotty record is significant or typical of others. According to a online safety record the trucking company was cited for 17 maintenance violations in 24 months.

Las Cruces 18-Wheeler Truck Wreck Leaves 3 Dead
Three people were killed in an 18-wheeler truck wreck in New Mexico on Wednesday morning. The wreck happened around 1:30 in the morning when an 18-wheeler tractor trailer truck and a pick-up collided on Interstate 10. Officials are unsure of what caused the wreck and are continuing to investigate the 18-wheeler truck wreck.

Inspector Dead After Tractor-Trailer Accident
Officials say an Oklahoma Department of Transportation inspector has died following a tractor-trailer accident Tuesday in Oklahoma City. The highway patrol says the tractor-trailer hauling asphalt overturned and landed on the transportation inspector. He was transported to the hospital and later passed away from his injuries.

Texas Tow Truck Wrecker Kills One
An accident near Frisco Texas has claimed the live of one person and sent two others to the hospital in critical condition. The wreck occurred when a tow truck driver slammed into the back of a car who was located in the center lane. The impact killed one of the occupants and sent two others to the Medical Center of Plano. The tow truck driver was not injured and police are still investigating to determine if any charges will be filed.
